- Energy Efficiency Accreditation for Achievements in Energy Efficiency 2007-2008
- Green Gown Awards – shortlisted 2007-2008 for carbon reduction initiative

Current measurable projects and policies in place
- Where possible we have introduced recycling stations for residents, staff and guest, for paper, glass, plastic & cans
- All hazardous and green waste is monitored and disposed using safe and responsible methods
- Where possible we source consumable products from local, quality suppliers
- All carrier bags at our campus supermarket outlets are bio-degradable
- Promotion of healthy campus – Active 3 x 30 – to encourage adults to do the recommended minimum of 30 minutes of exercise three times per week
