Keele Conferences & Events grows sales function

Keele Conferences and Events has appointed Jo Tipper as head of sales and Rachel Gibbs as senior sales executive. Both are newly-created roles. Jo Tipper's new role will see her oversee sales for Keele Conference & Events portfolio, which encompasses Keele Conference Management and AV and event management company Piranha Audio Visual. Jo Tipper previously worked in senior sales roles at De Vere and Q Hotels, while Gibbs has worked in sales at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, De Vere and Q Hotels.

Sam Booth, head of Keele Conferences & Events, said: "There are many elements to the Keele Conferences & Events brand and both Jo and Rachel will be working hard to develop these to their full potential as well as looking to extend them even further  with new innovations and services."
